Six Public Policy Students Receive Office of Minority Educational Development Tower Awards

Six students from the Ivan Allen College School of Public Policy were recognized at Georgia Tech’s 23rd annual Tower Awards on April 6, 2017, at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center.

Public Policy undergraduates Andrea Glaze, Shekinah Hall, Reagan Johnson, Margaret Kelley, Charles Lucas, and Janelle Owasu received awards at the event, which was organized by Georgia Tech’s Office of Minority Educational Development (OMED) Educational Services.

Each year, OMED Education Services hosts the Tower Awards celebration to acknowledge and reaffirm underrepresented students’ academic achievements. This year, more than 1,200 students were academically eligible to receive a Tower Award.
