Amanda Bock
B.S./M.S. in Public Policy
I chose the B.S./M.S. in Public Policy because I felt that having a master's degree would set me up for better policy career opportunities in the future. With the current job market as it is, I think we’re all aware that any edge on your resume helps.
I also wasn't entirely certain what type of policy career I wanted coming out of undergrad, so this program gave me the time and flexibility to continue exploring my options, all the while gaining a higher degree and more in-depth knowledge. As an in-state student, this program was an extremely accessible and affordable way to achieve that goal!

B.S./M.S. in Economics
I chose the B.S./M.S. in Economics because I was able to graduate early and found that I could get a master's degree at Georgia Tech in only one additional year. My professors were extremely excited to help me apply, and I loved the economics curriculum offered during the master's program.
So, it was both easy and convenient, and I was able to continue pursuing my passion with the professors and peers I appreciated! I would definitely recommend this program to future students.

Oliver Gray
B.S./M.S. in Economics
I chose B.S./M.S. in Economics because the program is an excellent deal. The barrier to entry is lower than other economics master's due to prior relationships with faculty, the ease of application, and the final cost of the program. Double-counting credits for undergrad and graduate school helped give me confidence that I could tackle higher-level curriculum.
The biggest benefit I've gained from the program is confidence in discussing messy economic subjects with interviewers, professors, peers, and family. I look forward to sharpening my data analysis skills and earning certifications in SAS, which is an industry standard among large corporations. I would strongly encourage other students to pursue the B.S./M.S. Economics track.

B.S./M.S. in International Affairs
The biggest benefit of the B.S./M.S. in International Affairs is that I was able to carry over my research from my undergraduate to graduate career. Being at Georgia Tech, a leader in research, having this opportunity was really important as research is my career trajectory.
Fostering the connections I've already made is also really important to me. I've met amazing mentors who have aided me in my professional and academic career, and new people I would have missed if I had not been in the B.S./M.S. program. I really recommend it to students! There are tremendous advantages in continuing the connections you've made, exploring new aspects of Georgia Tech, and having that financial support.
