she/herBefore joining Georgia Tech, Corinne Matthews completed her Ph.D. in English at the University of Florida. She also holds an M.A. in English from Kansas State University and an M.S.E.E. in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University. Her research focuses on children' and young adult literature; comics and graphic novels; and fantasy and speculative fiction. Her work can be found in journals like Journal of the History of Childhood and Youth, The Lion and the Unicorn, and the South Central Review.
