Yeqing Kong is an Assistant Professor of Technical Communication in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication. Her research focuses on the communication of scientific, technological, health, and environmental risks in the global context, especially the communication strategies that vulnerable communities use for self-advocacy. She has published in IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication, Technical Communication, Journal of Business and Technical Communication, Journal of Rhetoric, Professional Communication, and Globalization, and Proceedings of the ACM International Conference on the Design of Communication.
