Whitney Hamlet

Greetings! I have been at Georgia Tech since my inception to Atlanta over 6 years ago. I am originally from Detroit, MI, where I graduated with my BA in Community Governance and Advocacy from Michigan State University in 2013. I moved to Atlanta in 2017, and started as Admin Pro II in Biomedical Engineering (BME). I was then promoted to the Center for 21st Century Universities (C21U) in 2018 and worked to support their adminstrative and financial processes in educational research. In 2021 I started with the School of Economics as Assistant to the Chair, and have been blessed to work with such amazing people in the School and Ivan Allen College. I currenlty serve as the School's Administrative Manager, where I will continue to work under the Chair, Associate Chair, and assume much of the departments administrative processes in addition to faculty affairs.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, and having game nights with my family and friends. I am a ton of fun, a great person to work with, and I look forward to meeting everyone!
