Jessica Estep joined the Writing and Communication Program as a lecturer after 13 years as a professor of English at Georgia Gwinnett College. She specializes in teaching first-year and developmental writing courses, and she is currently a Governor's Teaching Fellow with the Louise McBee Institute of Higher Education at the University of Georgia. Her research focuses on generative AI in the writing classroom, public rhetoric, and non-tenure-track faculty status. Estep's work has been published or is forthcoming in Pedagogy, English Journal, Peitho, and Community Literacy Journal, among others.
