Accelerated B.S./M.S. Degrees in the Ivan Allen College

Undergraduate students may begin earning credit toward a master's degree while pursuing undergraduate studies. 

Students consult with their advisor and the program's graduate director in their sophomore year and begin the process of applying to the program as soon as they have achieved junior status. The application includes a personal statement and faculty recommendations.

B.S. / M.S. in Applied Languages and Intercultural Studies

Georgia Tech undergraduate students majoring in Applied Languages and Intercultural Studies can gain an advanced degree in only two additional semesters, which qualifies them for leadership roles in a variety of careers, including management, international business, globally oriented design and engineering, and communications. 
 

B.S. / M.S. in Digital Media

The B.S./M.S. in Digital Media is open to students pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Computational Media or the Bachelor os Science in Literature, Media, and Communication.
 

B.S. / M.S. in Economics

The B.S./M.S. in Economics is open to undergraduates in Economics, Economics and International Affairs, and Global Economics and Modern Languages. All other majors can pursue it through the Graduate Course Option.
 

B.S./M.S. in History and Sociology of Technology and Science

The B.S./M.S. in the School of History and Sociology allows undergraduate students in the History, Technology, and Society major to complete a Master’s in History and Sociology of Technology and Science in just one extra year.
 

B.S. / M.S. in International Affairs

The B.S./M.S. in International Affairs is available to undergraduate students in the International Affairs, International Affairs and Modern Languages, or Economics and International Affairs bachelor’s programs. Students can double-count the graduate-level courses in Comparative Politics (INTA 6202) and International Political Economy (INTA 6302) in their undergraduate majors toward their graduate degree.
 

B.S. / M.S. in Public Policy

The streamlined B.S./M.S. program reduces the total credit hours required for the M.S. in Public Policy from 46 to 40 hours. It is open to students in the Bachelor of Science in Public Policy.
