Artificial Intelligence and Academic Integrity Conference 2023
Join the Honor Advisory Council, the Office of Student Integrity, and the Office of Commercialization for the first Artificial Intelligence & Academic Integrity Conference, Monday, October 16 at the Ferst Center for the Arts from 1 - 5 p.m.
Speakers and facilitators are scheduled to include Donald Beamer, Jr., ECON 2005, the City of Atlanta’s first-ever senior tech advisor; Raghupathy Sivakumar, vice president of Commercialization at the Georgia Tech Office of Commercialization; and Kathy Baxter, principal architect of Responsible AI & Tech at Salesforce.
Georgia Tech-affiliated panelists will include Christos Athanasiou, assistant professor, Aerospace Engineering; Luoluo Hong, vice president of Student Engagement and Well-Being; Laurence Jacobs, senior vice provost of Education and Learning; David Joyner, principal research associate at the College of Computing; and Wei Xu, assistant professor at the School of Interactive Computing.
The campus community is encouraged to come to as many of the presentations as possible to experience the full range of these vital discussions.

What is generative AI and what are some of the state-of-the-art achievements in this field? What detection tools and strategies (AI or otherwise) exist to identify AI-generated content?
