This discussion focuses on fostering collaboration between the United Nations and Atlanta to address climate change, equity, and corruption. Participants will explore UN initiatives for climate action and their applicability to Atlanta, tailoring strategies to the city's unique challenges, and leveraging global expertise to combat corruption and promote transparency. The conversation will also delve into successful UN-city partnerships, engaging academic institutions, facilitating cross-sectoral collaboration, and ensuring inclusivity in initiatives to enhance global competency in tackling complex challenges.

Martin Nesirky, Director of the UN Information Service Vienna, is in Atlanta attending the tenth session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption.
