I’m from “Foco,”(Forsyth County), but I was born in Nigeria and lived there for six years! At Tech, I am involved in the Ivan Allen Student Ambassador Program, Rescue Paws, and many other clubs. I have done some projects involving UI/UX design and digital media, and I have a passion for sustainability and the effect of climate change on animals. Hello! My name is Alison Bolaños and I am currently studying abroad in Metz, France as part of the French Serve-Learn-Sustain (SLS) Program at the Georgia Tech Europe campus. I am a pre-med Neuroscience major with a double minor in French and Health & Medical Sciences. I am a member of the GT French club, a STAMPS Health Student Ambassador, a medical assistant intern at the Good Samaritan Clinic, and a part of the WREK 91.1 Radio team. With Spanish being my first language and learning English at 7 years old, I have always had a passion for learning new languages and discovering new cultures. My goal is to become a trilingual doctor and to apply the French language in a medical setting with international patients. Last spring, I graduated magna cum laude from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Language and Culture for French. Previously, I’ve studied abroad at the Université de Caen-Normandie, where I improved my French skills. I am also a part of Pi Delta Phi, the National French Honor Society.
