Borenstein Presents at Technology Association of Georgia Panel on Artificial Intelligence Cognitive Interaction

Jason Borenstein, associate director of the Center for Ethics and Technology, was a panelist for a Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) November 1 event “Chatbots and Assistants: Cognitive Interactions to Support the Future.”

The session explored topics ranging from Artificial Intelligence (AI) potential in shopping and personal assistants to managing the complexities of a smart city. Borenstein share perspectives on ethics. The session took place at the Metro Atlanta Chamber. 

TAG is a world-class membership organization and an engine for economic development for the state of Georgia. TAG’s mission is to educate, promote, influence and unite Georgia technology community to foster an innovative and connected marketplace that enhances Georgia’s tech-based economy.

Borenstein also serves as director of Georgia Tech’s Graduate Research Ethics Programs. His appointments reside in the School of Public Policy and the Office of Graduate Studies. The School of Public Policy is a unit in the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts at Georgia Institute of Technology.
