Students Recognized for Excellence

Outstanding students were recognized this month with awards and scholarships from the Institute, College, and Schools.

During the Georgia Tech Student Honors Luncheon April 18, 2018, John Tone, associate dean of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, presented six Ivan Allen College school awards. These included:

International Affairs Graduate Teaching Assistant Award (CTL) - Allison Stanford

The Bellon Award (HSOC) - Kayleigh Haskin

Excellence in Applied Languages and Intercultural Studies (ALIS) Award (ML) - Shantanu Mantri 

International Affairs Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award (Nunn School) - Emma Browning

James Dean Young Writing Award (LMC)Denavi Patil

Outstanding Economics Student Award (ECON) - Katie Sears

Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award (PubPol) - Sana Surani (PubPol)

International Affairs Outstanding Graduate Student Award (Nunn School) -  Jon Schmid
