Congratulations to Alice Clifton on the approval of her dissertation proposal and her admission to PhD candidacy. Alice's dissertation is tentatively titled "Manning the Tennessee Valley Authority, 1933-1953," and her proposal committee includes Steve Usselman (chair), Doug Flamming, John Krige, and Sheri Randolph.
