Alan Marco Presents at Federal Trade Commission Hearing on Competition and Consumer Protection

Alan Marco, professor in the Georgia Institute of Technology School of Public Policy, spoke on October 24, 2018 at Federal Trade Commission hearings on “Competition and Consumer Protection in the 21st Century.”
Marco, the former chief economist at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, gave introductory comments on patent policy and was a panelist on “Emerging Trends in Patent Quality.”
Marco specializes in innovation and patent policy, science and technology policy, intellectual property (IP) strategy and management, patent valuation, and other related areas. Earlier in the year, he was an invited speaker at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Center for Intellectual Property Understanding. Read more.
