School of Economics Debuts Podcast

Want to understand the economics of cryptocurrency or of green buildings? The Georgia Institute of Technology School of Economics(link is external) has launched a podcast series entitled ‘The Economics Of,’(link is external) a platform for exploring the cutting-edge research of the School’s students and professors. 

The podcasts are hosted by economics advisor Tony Gallego and School of Literature, Media, and Communication(link is external) graduate Laura Grace Sears. 

Their inaugural episode(link is external) on the economics of green buildings features an interview with Chris Blackburn, a Ph.D. candidate in the School who is researching the topic. The second episode(link is external) features Willie Belton, professor and director of undergraduate studies for the School, discussing the complexities of cryptocurrency and its relation to money.(link is external)
