Posted November 26, 2018

Want to understand the economics of cryptocurrency or of green buildings? The Georgia Institute of Technology School of Economics has launched a podcast series entitled ‘The Economics Of,’ a platform for exploring the cutting-edge research of the School’s students and professors.

The podcasts are hosted by economics advisor Tony Gallego and School of Literature, Media, and Communication graduate Laura Grace Sears.

Their inaugural episode on the economics of green buildings features an interview with Chris Blackburn, a Ph.D. candidate in the School who is researching the topic. The second episode features Willie Belton, professor and director of undergraduate studies for the School, discussing the complexities of cryptocurrency and its relation to money.

New ‘The Economics Of’ episodes and updates can be found on the School’s YouTube and Facebook channels.

The Schools of Economics and Literature, Media, and Communication are units of the Georgia Tech Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts.
