Ivan Allen College Celebrates Nearly 100 Students at Fall 2021 Commencement

Posted December 13, 2021

The Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts is delighted to award degrees to nearly 100 students at Georgia Tech's Fall 2021 Commencement Ceremony.

The past few years have been a little different than most, and so have our students. Some words to describe the #GT21 graduating class this year are focused, hardworking, resourceful, and adaptable to the challenges life has thrown their way. (Though we might also throw in extraordinary and remarkable as well.)

Whether they're pursuing their bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degrees, IAC students in our six Schools have persevered and chased down their dreams. Such as Sinet Adous in the School of International Affairs, who was the student behind the new campus mural near Skiles, and Edward Freeman in the School of Modern Languages, who published a novel and was honored as a Forbes Under 30 Scholar.

Some are traveling far, such as Charles Burns in the School of Economics, who will attend pilot school after graduation. And some are staying closer to home, such as Andrew McGraw in the School of Public Policy, who has accepted a position as student support coordinator right here in the Ivan Allen College. But one thing is for sure: wherever in the world they go next, the class of 2021 will always be Yellow Jackets!

Please join us in giving a warm congratulations to our graduating students, and read more of their student profiles in the School spotlights below:

Congrats, graduates! We can't wait to see what you do next!

The Georgia Tech Fall 2021 Commencement Ceremony will take place on Dec. 17 and 18 at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
