More than One Hundred Nunn School Alumni Celebrate Naming During Washington Gathering

The cocktail reception commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Nunn School was generously hosted by David Cooper (INTA 1996) and Maranda Smith. The fourth annual Alumni and Friends reception featured keynote speaker Gen. Philip Breedlove, USAF (Ret.), a Georgia Tech alumnus and Distinguished Professor at the Nunn School.

Jennifer Clark, the director of Georgia Tech’s Center for Urban Innovation, testified on Thursday, March 16, 2017, before the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee Subcommittee on Digital Commerce and Consumer Protection. The hearing on Smart Communities was part of the Subcommittee’s Disrupter Series which examines ways that U.S. communities are using new technology to improve the improve safety, increase efficiency, and create opportunity.

The Ivan Allen College School of Public Policy at Georgia tech has been ranked #45 on the 2018 U.S. News & World Report list of Best Graduate Schools in Public Affairs for the second straight year. Public Policy's also maintained its ranking as the #2 graduate program nationwide in IT Management.

Royster Named to Advisory Council of Woosong University Endicott College of International Studies

Jacqueline Royster, dean of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, was named to the Advisory Council of the newly formed Endicott College of International Studies at Woosong University. The College is named after long-time former Sam Nunn School International Affairs faculty member John Endicott, who is president of Woosong University.
