On Tuesday, April 25 at the McCamish Pavilion, five Public Policy student teams competed in Georgia Tech’s spring 2017 Capstone Design expo. The award for Best Public Policy Project went to Reagan Johnson and Maggie Kelley for their project Sidewalk Scholars: Safe Routes to School Program Analysis.

Joe Bankoff to Chair Fulton County Arts Council
May 1, 2017
Joe Bankoff, Chair and Professor of the Practice in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts at Georgia Tech, was selected as chairman of the Fulton County Arts Council. Mr. Bankoff was voted in on April 12, 2017 and plans to begin his role on a “listening tour.”

Interns Work with Margaret Kosal to Investigate Emerging and Next-Generation Technologies

During much of the Spring semester, there have been a couple of especially young faces around the Habersham building in the afternoon - two Atlanta Public Schools (APS) high school students. Working with Nunn School Associate Professor Margaret E Kosal and post-doc, Dr. Jon Huang, the two APS students investigated how emerging and next-generation technologies are playing a role in national defense and in a Third Offset Strategy for deterrence.
