I've held a few different positions throughout my career, but writing and storytelling has been a common thread throughout all of them. I have written for National Geographic, BBC Future, The Guardian, The Boston Globe, International Living, Cincinnati Refined, and many other publications. In addition, more than a million people have visited my travel blog, Slight North, since I launched it in 2017. Now I work in communications at Georgia Tech, where I tell student, faculty, and research stories on topics as varied as Covid-19, climate change, and the history of computers. I also love to travel, and before settling down in Atlanta I lived in 11 countries over four years as a digital nomad.
