Overview
Ahmed Ahmed is a lecturer of Arabic. He has a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from Georgia State University. In 2013, he was a Fulbright scholar at GSU. He is currently working on his doctoral program in Language and Literacy at Georgia State University. He believes that a language classroom is the place where students should learn not only the target language but also the culture of this language. It is the place where students should get a better understanding and authentic exposure of the target culture. He is interested in intercultural communication, bilingualism, transnationalism, and teaching Arabic as a foreign/heritage language. He enjoys practicing Arabic calligraphy.
