Lisa Yaszek, Regents' Professor of Science Fiction Studies, published The Future is Female! Volume Two, The 1970s: More Classic Science Fiction Stories by Women. The is the second book in an edited series that Yaszek produces for the Library of America, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and disseminating the best of American letters.

Kallin Presents on Transgender and Non-Binary Pronouns, Expressions in Foreign Language Learning

Britta Kallin, associate professor of German and director of graduate studies in the School of Modern Languages, presented at the Klett World Language Conference, which focuses on trends in world language teaching and learning. Her presentation was titled "Transgender and Non-Binary Gender Pronouns and Expression in Foreign Language Classrooms."

Espinosa, DiSalvo Awarded Best Paper at Human-Computer Interaction Conference

Sara Milkes Espinosa, digital media Ph.D. student, and Carl DiSalvo, associate professor of digital media, were awarded best paper for their co-authored work  "Trash Work Futures: A Design Fiction" at the CHIWORK 2022 Symposium on Human-Computer Interaction for Work. They presented their paper on June 6 during the session "Worker Organizing."
